Covid-hit Remco quits Giro; Giro rest day review; Vollering v Van Vleuten clash again; what next for Nairo?

Episode 4 went off without hitch, only for race leader Remco Evenepoel to quit the Giro d'Italia with Covid. So here's version two, complete with that disappointing news, as well as a look ahead to week two of the corsa rosa.

We get Jayco-Alula team manager Matt White's analysis of what lies ahead in a race that could hardly be any more finely balanced. Plus, there's Tao Geoghegan Hart's analysis of Radio Cycling host Jeremy Whittle's wardrobe, while Peter Cossins suggests that the Giro, so hyped by so many, is actually the least exciting of the Grand Tours

Over in Spain, Demi Vollering and Annemiek van Vleuten were at it again, duelling with each other, this time at the Itzulia Women's race in the Basque Country, their contest further racing expectations of what lies in store at the Giro Rosa and Tour de France Femmes.

Finally, after weeks of back and forth contact between Radio Cycling newshound Chris Marshall-Bell and both Nairo Quintana's lawyer and his agent, we look at the prospects for the Colombian climber, who's not raced since the painkiller tramadol was found in two of his samples from the Tour de France. Will anyone sign him, or has Nairoman's racing career run out?
